Every day, 42 families learn that their child has cancer.

The Isla Cares Foundation was established in honor of Isla Chevalier, a courageous young warrior who just recently WON her battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. At Isla Cares, we strive to encourage and support children battling cancer and their families through personalized care packages. 

Isla Cares serves children from ages 0-18 with any form of cancer in the Kansas City area. Our care packages are thoughtfully curated to bring joy and positivity, helping to alleviate some of the emotional & financial strains that accompany treatment. They may include family activities, comfort items, toys and activities that are easily transported to the hospital, and gift cards for gas, groceries, and restaurants. 

By sharing Isla’s story and reaching out to those in need, we hope to not only honor her fight but also inspire others to join in this mission of bringing light to the world of childhood cancer.
